Welcome to BiteTrack AI. By downloading, installing, or using BiteTrack AI (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

BiteTrack AI is a nutrition tracking application that uses artificial intelligence to analyze food descriptions and provide estimated nutritional information including calories, protein, carbohydrates, and fat content.

2. Accuracy Disclaimer

Important: Nutritional data provided by BiteTrack AI is an AI-generated estimate and may not be 100% accurate. The App is intended for general wellness and informational purposes only. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical or dietary advice.

• Do not rely solely on this App for medical, dietary, or health decisions
• Consult a healthcare professional or registered dietitian for personalized nutrition advice
• AI estimates may vary based on food preparation methods, portion sizes, and ingredients

3. User Responsibilities

• You must be at least 13 years old to use the App
• You are responsible for the accuracy of food descriptions you provide
• You agree not to misuse the service, including attempting to overload or interfere with the AI analysis service
• You agree not to reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App

4. Free & Premium Tiers

Free Tier: Includes a limited number of AI food scans per day. The free version may display advertisements.

Premium Tier: Offers unlimited scans, no advertisements, and additional features. Premium subscriptions are processed through Google Play and are subject to Google Play's terms and refund policies.

5. In-App Purchases

• All purchases are processed by Google Play
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• Refunds are handled according to Google Play's refund policy
• You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Google Play account settings

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, and code in BiteTrack AI are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the App without our written consent.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• BiteTrack AI is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind
• We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App
• We are not responsible for health outcomes resulting from reliance on nutritional estimates
• Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Premium features in the preceding 12 months

8. Service Availability

We strive to keep the AI analysis service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors beyond our control.

9. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the App for users who violate these Terms or abuse the service. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the App shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first.
